The 12.64 square mile city of Cambridge is the 4th most populous city in the Eastern Shore region of Maryland and the largest municipality in the Dorchester County. It is home to around 12,000 residents, according to the 2010 census. Cambridge is among the oldest colonial cities in the state, inhabited by English colonizers back in 1684. The city is home to a few notable people including James Adkins and Jay-Z. There are several things visitors can do in Cambridge, especially in its historic district.
