The Henry Ford (and Greenfield Village) is a large history museum and a National Historic Landmark founded by Henry Ford in 1929. The museum gallery is a two-part display with Henry Ford Museum exhibits and the Greenfield Village exhibits.

The Henry Ford Exhibits include the 1903 Wright Flyer Replica in the Airplane Exhibits; the Fordson Tractor No. 1 in the Agriculture Exhibits; The bus on which Rosa Parks was arrested triggering the Montgomery Bus Boycott in the Automobile Exhibits. Then there is the  SS-100-X used by John F. Kennedy in the Presidential Limousines; and the Water Engine and Electric Generator, Spokane WA (1903) in the Made In America Exhibits. The Greenfield Village exhibits include Noah Webster's home from New Haven, Connecticut; Three crucibles in Thomas Edison's Menlo Park Laboratory. At the left is a boiler and a small steam engine in the Thomas Edison Exhibits; and the Wright Brothers house relocated from Dayton, Ohio in the Wright Brothers Exhibits.

The IMAX at the Henry Ford is now going to be a 4K digital projection, sound and seating theatre for visitors to come and enjoy. Henry Ford has also instituted the Henry Ford Academy, which was established in 1997 for 9-12 grades and is located within the museum. There are also three other schools that have been modeled after this one and the Henry Ford Academy is Accredited by AdvancED.
