Sleepy Hole Park in Suffolk, Virginia, is a beautiful 73-acre waterfront area, located along the Nansemond River, that showcases nature and is family-oriented. Open from dawn to dusk every day, the park has a fishing pier, boat ramp, freshwater lake, playground, picnic shelters, and trails that wind through both wooded areas and open fields. Sleepy Hole Park is known to be popular for birding and/or seasonal events like the Festival of Lights.
