Sea Life Park Hawaii

Near Makapu’u Point in the island of Oahu in Hawaii is a facility that contains a marine mammal park, bird sanctuary and aquarium that visitors of all ages will love visiting. The interactive park which opened in 1964 encourages its visitors to interact by swimming with the animals, doing a sea safari or even feeding the sea turtles.

Attracting around 350,000 visitors every year, the park contains exhibits such as the 1,000-cubic-meter Hawaiian Reef Aquarium, the Hawaiian Ocean Theater, Penguin Habitat, Sea Turtle Feeding Pool, Sting Ray Lagoon, Swim with the Sea Lions, Swim with Dolphins, Bird Sanctuary and the Hawaiian Monk Seal Habitat. Several programs allow guests to swim with dolphins, sea lions and sting rays or take a stroll in the reef tank surrounded by eels, sea turtles, sting rays and numerous other sea creatures.

Sea Life Park Hawaii also takes part in conservation efforts such as releasing hundreds of adolescent green sea turtles into the wild every year.
