The Bronx Zoo, located in Bronx, New York City, is a 250-acre facility that is currently home to around 4000 animals across 650 species from around the world. The zoo is considered as one of the largest metropolitan zoos as well as one of the largest in North America. It is also part of the four zoos and aquarium system that is being managed by the Wildlife Conservation Society.
