Busch Gardens in Tampa Bay Florida is a 335-acre African-themed Theme park owned by SeaWorld Entertainment.  The Tampa location was opened initially as a bird sanctuary and gardens and was simply a tropical garden on March 31, 1959. It was also considered a hospitality centre for Anheuser-Busch. It is now a free-range habitat for herds of African animals and other zoo attractions. It also contains entertainment for the family in forms of live entertainment, rides, and educational attractions.  There is a water park attached to the theme park for an added 56-acre Key West-themed water park with rides and attractions. Busch Gardens is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (through March 2016) The original name of Busch Gardens, Tampa was Busch Gardens: The Dark Continent when it opened. Last attendance reported was 4,128.000 in 2014.
