Six Flags Magic Mountain

Six Flags Magic Mountain is a 262-acre theme park established May 29, 1971. Originally, the park opened as Magic Mountain in the Valencia neighborhood of Santa Clarita. When Six Flags Entertainment Corporation bought the park in 1979, they added “Six Flags” to the title of the park.

There are quite a few things to do and see here. There are rides for the thrill seekers like the 415-foot tower at LEX LUTHOR: Drop of Doom, the family ride bumper cars at Sandblasters, and the kids ride balloon baskets at Elmer's Weather Balloons. This is the place if you want to meet and greet The Justice League or your favorite Looney Tunes characters. There are events like ‘Auditions’ that are being held in late February (check the website for information,) ‘Spring Break’ fun when there is that time off from classes , ‘Fright Fest’ when the park gets turned into a great place to get your scream on, and ‘Holiday in the Park’ during the Christmas Season.

The park is not open during regular school hours but if your organization or school wants to have a group outing to the park, it can be arranged.
